Lil Mo’s ex-husband has found himself in trouble with the law. We don’t know if this is the first time singer’s ex-husband has been arrested or if he ever been to jail before. Lil Mo is locked into a twitter beef with Keisha Cole that seems to have no end in sight. Mo also took to twitter to defend his friend Kevin Terry; the upcoming gospel single whose video was leaked last week giving fellatio to another man. She defended him and congratulated him for doing a good job at the same time!
Augustus Stone was arrested for manufacturing a marijuana growing operation inside his Maryland home. Police were tipped off about the illegal activity after neighbors reported a strong smell.
At the time of his arrest, authorities found 158 marijuana plants, equivalent to the street value of $127,000.
“They believe this individual was manufacturing marijuana, distributing marijuana for two to three months out of the home,” a spokesperson from the Anne Arundel County police said. “The tip set off the investigation from an observant citizen, just the amount of traffic coming and going.”
One neighbor added that Stone lived next to a daycare. “Kids walk past the house to go to the bus stop. It’s right there. My kids are here all day. They really could have, unfortunately, ran into that,” the source said.
The R&B songstress and Stone were married from 2001 to 2005. Their union produced two children, 11-year-old Heaven and 8-year-old God’Iss.
If convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison.
