It has been a long held belief that facials done at professional spas can help people to look younger, often times at a high cost. A Korean paper facial product is set to begin being sold in the U.S. by the Sephora retail chain. The product could give spas a run for their money, as it promises to deliver the same benefits, at a fraction of the cost of a regular facial.
Masqueology is already a smash hit in Korea. The product manufacturer claim that the paper face masks offer results that are normally only gotten from professional spa treatments. The $24 price for a set of three will likely break sales records when the product begin being sold in March, exclusively by Sephora.
Beauty Architects, the company importing the product into the U.S., is aiming its sales at consumers who not only need a lower cost alternative, but to those who have no time to visit a spa.
Masqueology is also made from paper and because of this, creates less mess than traditional masques. They are used daily in Korea and are expected to take off well in the U.S. Its Advanced 7D Solution product has already shown good sales results at Sephora.
