I was hungry’: Boy, six, crashes his mother’s minivan after attempting to drive it to buy food

A six-year-old boy, who told police he had been hungry and wanted to go and buy food, crashed his mother’s minivan after attempting to drive it to the shops.

The boy from Klamath Falls, Oregon, who has not been named, crashed into several postboxes yesterday before swerving into the opposite lane and smashing into a Dodge pickup truck.

Luckily it was a slow-speed crash and the boy was not hurt. The driver of the pickup, Tammy Belau, suffered minor injuries.
