A terrified 53-year-old woman told how she shot an intruder who tried to attack her while she was having a shower.
The hysterical resident, who lives alone in Duluth, Minnesota, cried down the phone as she called the police after shooting the assailant ‘as much as I could’.
The distraught woman told the 911 dispatcher: ‘I was in the shower and the lights cut out in my house, and a man came in with a hood, and he had a knife in his hand.
‘He told me to be quiet. He told me to get out of the tub and tried to force me on the bed. I took my .22, and I shot him as much as I could.’
