Tyler Doohan, merely 8-years-old, tragically died a true hero while attempting to save his family from a fire that burned down their mobile home in Penfield, NY, early Monday morning, January 20th. Tyler went to visit his grandfather, Lou Beach, and spent the night in his home. The young boy awoke to discover his house was on fire, so he alerted his family and helped 6 of his relatives escape the flames. He even made it outside of the home to safety, but since his grandfather was disabled, he ran back inside to help him escape, unfortunately neither Tyler or his grandfather made it out alive.
