This past Thursday, the Office Bar in Lafayette, Louisiana was the setting for an amazing producers’ beat battle known as “The Track Meet Beat Battle”. The Heat Magazine was front and center for the event, even serving on the judges’ panel. Artist/Promoter/Entreprenuer Moose Harris organized and hosted the event, which was a stellar success.
The night began with a mixer and several local vendors showcasing their wares. Paparazzi Accessories was in the house with all of their sparkling trinkets (@papi_elle). Uncouth Custom Dezyns was also in the building with their custom, handpainted apparel (@uncouthcustomdezyns). You’ll definitely want to get at both of these businesses for some unique pieces! They ship orders, so there’s no reason not to place your orders!
After multiple beat challenges between the producers during the beat battle and several awesome artists’ performances, Lafayette based producer Luh’Zo (@zo_ondatrack) was crowned production royalty.
The Road to Atlanta began in Little Rock, Arkansas, just made a stop in Lafayette, Louisiana, and is headed to Jackson, Mississippi later this week. It will culminate in an epic event at Atlanta’s A3C. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!
