George Zimmerman’s new bond has been set at a hefty $1 million. He previously lied about how much money he had access to after he had posted bond the first time and has been jailed since for lying to the court.
He may have to tough it out inside of his jail cell until his upcoming trial begins for the fatal shooting of the unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman’s attorney is arguing that he should be released until his trial because he feels as though the state’s case against him is weak and their defense is solid.
The prosecution on the other hand strongly feels that his right to be released on bond should be revoked entirely due to the fact that he lied in court before about his finances.
