Both Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are happy where they are with their current relationship. Many people would have already officially tied the knot after 3 years of being together, however both Gabrielle and Dwyane rushed into their prior marriages, and both resulted in divorces.
Gabrielle recently sat down with Access Hollywood Live host, Billy Bush to discuss the bliss that comes from not rushing a relationship to becoming a marriage. Here’s what she had to say:
“What you learn from divorce is you have to be incredibly honest, about what you want, what you need, and what your expectations are. As women, we’re sort of taught to go along, to get along, not cause any ruffles…but yeah, that got me divorced. Now we’re like, ‘let’s take our time.’ If the goal is forever, what are we rushing for?”
