The body of Darryl Hamilton, 50, a broadcast analyst for MLB, was found by the front door of his girlfriend’s home in Pearland, Texas on Sunday. Her body was discovered nearby.
A former Mets player has reportedly been shot dead by his girlfriend – who then turned the weapon on herself while their one-year-old son was at home.
The bodies of Darryl Hamilton, 50, and Monica Jordan, 44, were found at her house in Pearland, Texas at 4.45pm Sunday – Father’s Day.
Hamilton, an MLB Network analyst and dad of three, was discovered next to the front door with several bullet wounds. Jordan apparently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in another part of the property.
Police Lieutenant Onesimo Lopez told reporters: ‘At this point it does not appear that there was any kind of struggle. The incident occurred just inside the front door.’
