A Florida pizza delivery driver has been arrested and charged after allegedly attacking a pregnant mother over a tip dispute, stabbing her more than a dozen times. The incident occurred when 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, upset over receiving a $2 tip, returned to the customer’s motel room and carried out the assault, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities report that the mother shielded her 5-year-old daughter during the attack. She was later rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery for a ruptured lung but is expected to survive.
Alvelo faces multiple charges, including attempted murder with a weapon, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. The investigation rins ongoing.
