As reported by TMZ, Flo Rida handed over $170,000 for a home in his native Florida. He gave the money to a couple, Pierre and Marie Malette, in an attempt to secure the home. However, the Malettes never closed the deal with the rapper, they just took his $170k down payment.
The couple have gone on to file for bankruptcy, and Flo Rida filed a claim in their case demanding his $170,000 back.
It is reported that Flo Rida attempted to purchase the home from Pierre and Marie Malette in 2009.
