WHITE HALL, AR – Five individuals have been arrested on charges of attempted capital murder following a traffic stop by the White Hall Police Department that resulted in two officers being exposed to fentanyl.
According to law enforcement sources, the suspects are identified as 51-year-old Michael Branson, 35-year-old Brittany Billings, 30-year-old Skylar Rauls, 22-year-old Mack Faulkner, and an individual identified as Justin Wooten, whose age has not been disclosed. The arrests occurred after the officers were exposed to the deadly substance while searching the suspects’ vehicle.
The two officers were promptly transported to a local hospital, where they received treatment and have since been released.
At this time, authorities have not released additional information regarding the circumstances that led to the traffic stop or further details about the case. All five suspects are currently being held at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center, where they await their initial court appearances.
The incident remains under investigation.
