The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the White Glove Bandit, wanted for his third armed bank robbery, the latest happening today. At approximately 9:30 this morning, the suspect walked into a Citibank located at 555 LaGuardia Place in Manhattan, approached the teller, waived a black revolver, and demanded cash. The White Glove Bandit fled on foot heading south on LaGuardia Place towards Houston Street.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 30s, approximately 5’10’’ tall, with a medium build. The right side of his nose is described as scarred or disfigured. During every robbery, he has been seen wearing black shoes, pants, jacket, sunglasses, and white latex gloves. The White Glove Bandit carries a black revolver and usually is seen wearing a black, red, and gray backpack. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
