Lovari’s Re-Imagining Of A Pointer Sisters Classic
Singer and actor Lovari has had quite an impressive year. His latest album “Moment Of Love” is his best selling to date and highest charting (#2 on iTunes USA Electronic Albums Chart & Top 40 on iTunes USA Pop Albums Chart). The lead single from the album “No Day Like Today” became his first Billboard charting single, and the accompanying music video includes cameos from The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. On the screen, he has wrapped two horror film projects, with supporting roles in both “The Barn 2” (its predecessor made several best of horror lists, including nominations and wins) and “Zombie Games”. In the music video realm, he has been releasing one visual each month. The newest offering is “Automatic” – a re-imagining of the Pointer Sisters classic track from the 1980s.
Filmed entirely in Newark, NJ, and directed by city locals Vandalhaus’ Love Dimension (SIndy SInchz and Ole Vandal), “Automatic” incorporates “360” camera visuals, 80’s style choreography, and a plethora of humor. “I really let loose and allowed my goofy side to shine through in this music video”, says Lovari, “The production is frenetic and throbbing, and the visuals presented are a perfect counterpart to it.”
Lovari was slated to perform “Automatic” as the opening act for Sal The Voice of “America’s Got Talent” at “The Godfather’s Birthday”, an annual event held in South Philadelphia for The Rim Cafe (as featured on Food Network). The event has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
