After some areas received well over 10 inches of rain, water flooded homes and businesses in South Louisiana, particularly in Carencro and Sunset, Louisiana.
People had to be rescued from roofs of cars and their homes in Carencro, located in North Lafayette Parish. In Sunset, Louisiana, located in St. Landry Parish, elderly wheelchair bound residents had to be rescued in dump trucks.
