Lafayette, Louisiana police are are searching for a man “who briefly stole” a police car early Saturday.
An officer went to an area near the University of Louisiana – Lafayette around 5 a.m. to investigate a car burglary. The investigating officer parked at the end of the victim’s driveway and began talking to the victim.
According to The Advertiser, “They heard the police cruiser accelerate down the street from the end of the driveway.” The police car was located in an apartment complex about 45 minutes later.
MORAL OF THIS STORY? When all else fails, jack the nearest running vehicle, even if it’s a cop car. After all, gas is over $3.50 a gallon …..
