A drunken driver killed his girlfriend in an early morning crash, police said.
Nyron Isaac, 32, allegedly struck a traffic light, central reservation and parked car in Brooklyn, New York, killing mother-of-one Keisha Nelson, 32.
His wife Tennile Isaac, 29, who is currently seeking a divorce from him, said he should have been at home looking after his 10-year-old son.
Unemployed maintenance worker Isaac was driving his girlfriend Ms Nelson and his 21-year-old cousin, who were both in the back seat of his Cadillac.
He crashed on Fourth Avenue and was ‘spinning the circles’ when he got out of the car, witnesses told the New York Daily News.
Isaac did not even know who was driving and is now listed in a serious but stable condition in hospital – along with his unidentified cousin.
Ms Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene and Isaac was arrested.
