Amery Hearts (Amery Williams) is a 23 year old business owner from Pine Bluff Arkansas with a very promising future in the fashion Industry. Sweet Couture Love is a coustom shoe line, tailored to cater to the taste of the everyday woman who wants to make a statement with her footwear. I was amazed at the beauty, originality, amount of detail put into theese shoes. Some of the design were so alluring that I would not mind having a pair of my own. I caught up with Amery to ask her about this lucrative bussiness and how she feel about “Sweet Couture Love”.
Shai: What inspired the name “Sweet Couture Love”?
Amery Hearts : We make everything with “Love”. The word “Couture” comes from the fact that we make coustom shoes…and the word “Sweet” capture the essence of the company.
Shai: Describe the style..
Amery Hearts: Our Motto is FUN, DARING, BOLD and HEAVENLY but the actual style varies based on what the coustomer wants. I want everyone to feel like they can get something out of a shoe.. so it can range anywhere from classic to extraordinary.
Shai: What are your upcoming events?
Amery Hearts: As far as events we have are re-vamping our website http://sweetcouturelove.com/scloved/. We are also about to open up a botique that will be located in Chigcago, Illinois.
Shai: Have you designed for any celebrities?
Amery Hearts: Yes we have made shoes for local artists and celebrities, but we mostly design for regular people for at a reasonable price.
Shai: What made you want to sell shoes?
Amery Hearts : A shoe can make a whole outfit. My idea was to cater to the ladies and give them something that they love.. and this is shoes. Instead of buying everything from head to toe to look nice , you can just buy a nice pair of shoes and that would make the whole outfit stand out. This was the main reason for choosing shoes as my forte’.
