D.O.A. released his latest EP “Never x Settle” on April 30, 2023, on his Legacy Over Money Records label. The 7-track EP is laced with melodic flows of truth and beats with a nostalgic feel. Epik The Dawn and Othello Beats are the producers of “Never X Settle.”
D.O.A. born James Pinkney III has always had a passion for music since he was a child. Since the tender age of 6 years old, he has had a pen and pad, writing rhymes and doing his best imitation of the greats in Hip-Hop. D.O.A. knew one day he’d carve his own lane and be the greatest to ever do it.

For the last 10 years, D.O.A. has been making music off and on with a huge hiatus in between. In 2021, he started taking his music career more seriously and looking to make a real change within the landscape of the game. “No shade, but when I listen to many artists out nowadays, I don’t feel the authenticity in what’s being said. Most people are looking to copy whoever is HOT at that certain time & I’m not with that. I AM ME, I AM HIPHOP, I AM MUSIC,” says D.O.A.
D.O.A.’s music comes from the deepest part of his soul; when you listen to it, you can hear his passion for what he does. His influences would have to be those we consider the greats, such as; Biggie, Pac, Nas, and even the modern-day greats such as Nipsey, Kendrick, and J Cole. D.O.A. is looking to carve his name into the history books and really make an imprint with his brand. It’s a lifestyle and mindset built for those looking to become a part of something bigger than themselves.
