A convicted felon picked the worst victim he probably could have picked, when he decided to rob someone.
24-year old Anthony Miranda got his rear end handed to him when he attempted to mug an unnamed MMA fighter on Chicago’s Southwest Side, according to Chicago police. Miranda ended up with two black eyes and a gunshot wound to the ankle, after attempting to rob the MMA fighter, who was sitting in his parked car. Miranda reportedly walked up to the vehicle and asked for a lighter. When the victim told him he did not have one, Miranda brandished a handgun and demanded the victim exit his vehicle.
The victim was able to grab control of Miranda’s weapon, at which point he commenced to demonstrate his martial arts skills. Check out the picture for the end result.
The victim held Miranda until the police arrived and he was charged with armed robbery and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Court records reportedly show he has several convictions, including at least one for a residential burglary. He was ordered held on $350,000 bond.
