Early Monday morning, a black bear was first observed walking through Little Rock near Rodney Parham. Throughout the day, additional sightings of the bear were reported in various locations. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has been notified, though there has been no confirmation of the bear’s capture at this time.
The bear appears to be small, suggesting it may be a cub that has strayed from its habitat. This incident marks the second time a bear has been seen in a populated area in Arkansas this year.
