Tenn. (WKRN) — A 20-year-old UT-Martin student and member of the dance team for the Skyhawks basketball team, identified as Decora Alexander, was found dead over the weekend in a home in Obion County.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office responded Saturday night to a residence on Joe Fry Lane where family members of Tony Mosley, 29, were trying to force their way inside.
Relatives alerted deputies that Mosley had come to the door covered in blood but then went back inside.
As law enforcement attempted to force their way into the residence, they said Mosley finally opened the door and collapsed from stab wounds and lacerations to his body.
Deputies entered the home and discovered Alexander’s body. She had suffered multiple stab wounds to the body, deputies said. Mosley was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, then transferred to another facility, where he was listed in critical but stable condition, investigators said. Alexander, 20, was a UT-Martin student and a member of the dance team for the Skyhawks basketball team.
