ARTIST 101: Entertainment personality Jay Smash does what it takes to stay ahead of the curve

If you look up the word “businessman” in the dictionary, don’t be surprised if you find an entry for New Orleans artist/songwriter/entrepreneuer Jay Smash.

Jay is an interesting young artist who not only has multiple hustles within the entertainment industry, but who also takes part in his share of philanthropic activities, particularly those involving the next generation of athletic superstars. He also works hard to learn the business end of …. well, the entertainment business – and he makes sure to make his world a better place, using his music as the vehicle to effect change. Anyone who knows anything about being successful, understands that knowing the ins and outs of anything, can only push you forward!

Jay has an array of visuals and songs currently available so stay tuned to the coming press on those projects! In the meantime, take a second and get to know Jay Smash:

Stage Name: Jay Smash

Hailing from: New Orleans, Louisiana

Musical Influences: Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Rock, and Neo Soul

Favorite Food: Steak

Favorite Shoe: Jordan 11 “SpaceJam”

If he could be endorsed by any brand, who would it be and why? It would be whatever brand that gives him an opportunity to be profitable, innovative, and contribute to the creative process.

Favorite Song: “Zoom” by the Commodores

Favorite Artist: Lauryn Hill

What’s on his playlist now? “Could you Learn?” by T.I.

If he wasn’t rapping, what would he be doing? He would be a Sports Analyst and/or Sports Commentator

If he won 10 million dollars, what would he do with it? He says you must tithe 10%, so a million would go towards kingdom building, 2 million a piece for his two boys, 3 million for his mother, and he’ll use his two million to generate more future revenue.

EDITOR’S NOTE: As you can see, Jay Smash is an entertainment personality who is way ahead of the curve! You’ll be seeing much more of him in the coming months.
