Armed affiliates of the “Southern Patriot Council” militia group rallied in front of the Texas state capitol in Austin Tuesday afternoon to protest proposed restrictions to the Castle Doctrine and voice support for participants in last week’s Pro-Trump insurgency at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. State police had a heavy presence but no violence or arrests occurred.
