Teaching was not just a job for Ms. Braswell—it was her passion, and she poured her heart into every lesson.
Coming from a family of educators, Ms. Braswell carried on a proud legacy of shaping minds and changing lives. Her commitment to education extended beyond the classroom, as she continually encouraged and inspired those around her to strive for success.
Ms. Braswell was married to the late Frederick Braswell, who passed away in 2016. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children, instilling in them the values of hard work, kindness, and perseverance.
An active member of Mount Pleasant AME Church, Ms. Braswell remains a pillar of faith and service in her community. Known for her warmth and generosity, she is beloved by many—not only for her kind spirit but also for her incredible cooking. Those who know her will tell you that she can create magic in the kitchen, making meals that bring people together and leave a lasting impression.
