(Law and Crime)- – Officer Amanda Rosales sped to the scene where Eric Cole, a victim suffering from a gunshot wound was lying in the middle of the street when she ran him over. The victim was speaking to the dispatcher before being run over and his exact words was “I Am About To Die as he lay in the street.
Moments later Cole also expressed to the dispatcher that he was ran over.
The dispatcher asked who hit him? Cole responded that he was ran over by a police car.
Authorities claimed that Officer Rosales instantly rendered aid to Cole after she ran him over.
Eric Cole was in clear view before Officer Rosales who is now on paid leave ran him over.
Because his injuries was so severe, Cole had to be airlifted by a helicopter to a hospital close by. Cole succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
An initial autopsy showed details of Cole’s injuries which he suffered from abrasions to his lower back, lacerations on his shoulder and back, internal bleeding, a fractured sternum as well as fractured ribs. He also suffered from blunt force trauma to other areas of his body.
Dash cam footage shows that Cole was in full view, and physically injured before the patrol car driven by Officer Rosales, ran him over.
