Woman Robs Jacksonville Bank In Wheelchair, Arrested Only Two Blocks Away

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a woman in an electric wheelchair robbed a downtown Regions Bank by threatening to kill everyone there.

It’s the first one I have had where a suspect is in an electric wheelchair and does what she does,” Lt. Derrick Boucher said. Kenyeitta La-Key Gordon, 39, of East 48th St., was arrested a short time later and charged with strong-arm robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia and remains held without bail, according to jail records.
