Various media outlets are reporting the now infamous story of Chris Brown‘s alleged meltdown following his interview with Robin Roberts. We probably don’t need to rehash the events for you, so what we will do in its place is render our opinion concerning what Brown tweeted afterward.
The tweet has since been removed, but not before the ladies of The View and other celebrity blogs and sites began commenting and speculating on the incident.
The Heat Magazine thinks Sherri Sheppard of The View – and Chris Brown himself – summed it up the best. Why is everyone so concerned about what Chris Brown does? Why is he called a thug when Charlie Sheen and other similar entertainers have been accused of doing as much – or more – than Brown himself?
We’ll leave it up to you – our loyal readers – to decide why this happens. But think about this – Charlie Sheen has been accused of similar charges, but yet his meltdowns are “entertaining”. Chris Brown‘s? Well, not so much – why is that? Â Just why is it that Brown is seen in such a harsh light? Â Race? Â Age? Â Arrogance? Â Just what is it?

I definitely feel you on this topic. I like them both but I’m seeing two different sides of the media with this. On one hand Charlie Sheen is “winning” while high as a kite on a windy spring day, while Chris Brown is getting the backlash of something that happened 2 years ago! LET IT GO!!! If Charlie can win while on drugs, have several outlashes at the media, have 2 “Goddesses” living with him and call his ex-wife a nigger, why can’t the public let Chris have his WINNING moment also?
First off, I support Chris Brown and truly hope the young brother continues to have an opportunity to rehab his image. I don’t think having a tantrum and throwing things at, of all places, a major media network will serve him well. He will FOREVER be vilified for his “deeds” two years ago, and episodes like that on GMA only leads to speculation that he has uncontrollable anger management issues. Blow up, then apologize later. I like his music, but he has to realize, you are who you are. Now people will be asking him about the GMA episode as well. We love our celebrities to a fault, we like to think they are moral heroes when they really can’t handle that pressure. I like R. Kelly’s music, but I also saw the infamous video. Winning in a court of law doesn’t always mean you win in the court of public opinion. As for the “walking train wreck” Charlie Sheen, he has the capacity to generate alot of cash right now, will it help him or hurt him has yet to be seen.
