PINE BLUFF, AR — An entire community is mourning the loss of two lives claimed in a New Year’s house fire.

“Pain and confusion yes,” sister Michelle Gibson said.

Less than two hours into 2014, three of Gibson’s sisters were caught inside their burning house.

Only one made it out alive.

Gibson now mourns the loss of her beloved siblings 51-year-old Daisy Roberts and 56-year-old Allison O’Neal.

Just after 1 Wednesday morning, the fire woke the surrounding Pine Bluff neighborhood.

“Flames were coming out of the top of the house,” a neighbor said. “Police cars, fire trucks just everywhere.”
