HEAT RECOMMENDED EVENT: NOLA Power Youth- Youth with Ideas

Some movers & shakers from the Greater New Orleans area are putting their hearts & minds together in order to help our youth.

If you are interested in being heard in the city of New Orleans, come out this Sunday, January 29th at 7 p.m. with your creative ideas – the meeting will take place at the following location:

1025 Bienville Street, New Orleans, Louisiana

The place will be filled with creative people who want to bring change with our community, whose goal is to set up more cool events and socials for the youth in the city of New Orleans.

They are calling on all students, artists, and other creative people to get involved. Film maker Edward Buckles will also be shooting his next short film. Those in attendance will get the oppurtunity to be featured in it by simply answering the questions, “What are some ways youth can stay away from Violence… What are some programs that the city needs?” Come out and give your creative ideas! Power Youth!

For more information, please email nolapoweryouth@gmail.com. They are open to all ideas & need the support of EVERYONE. If you can’t be present, but still have ideas & want to help, The Heat Magazine strongly encourages you to email your ideas. Every little bit counts & we all need to be heard.

Just think what can happen, if more of us showed our youth how much they mean to us!
