Police said a Cordova mother was caught naked inside a teenage boy’s closet.
Memphis Police said 40-year-old Mary Magdalene Collier carried on a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy.
“I’m her daughter,” said Carshawna Collier when Action News 5 stopped by their home.
She was not proud of the particulars, but stood by her mother.
“All I can say is I love her and I’m going to be there for her though,” said Carshawna Collier. “I’m going to be there for her.”
Mary Collier was charged with Aggravated Statutory Rape after police were contacted about the sexual encounters. Some of them may have occurred at Collier’s Cordova home. However, police said the teen’s mother interrupted the most recent meeting at his house.
According to court records, the boy’s mother found a completely naked Collier hiding in her son’s closet. Police said Collier and the boy admitted to carrying on.
