Four Arkansans advanced to Hollywood on the premiere episode of the 13th season of American Idol.
North Little Rock’s Terrica Curry and Wrightsville resident Malcolm Allen received golden tickets on Wednesday that send them to the next round.

On Thursday evening, Bauxite’s Spencer Lloyd and Higginson’s Eric Wood found out they’d also be advancing.

All four contestants will make an appearance on Friday morning’s broadcast of Fox16 Good Day.
Arkansans have quite the history of success on Idol. Little Rock native Charlie Askew made the top 12 of season 12. Kris Allen won season 8 of Idol.
