3-Year-Old Fatally Shot at Fort Lauderdale Birthday Party

Fort Lauderdale, FL – A birthday party turned tragic on Sunday when a 3-year-old boy was fatally shot in Fort Lauderdale. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Riverland Park, near the 900 block of Southwest 27th Avenue.

Fort Lauderdale Police reported that officers and fire rescue crews quickly responded to the scene, where they found the injured child. The boy was immediately transported to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert.

Authorities have yet to release the boy’s name or further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting. An investigation is underway to determine how the shooting occurred and whether any charges will be filed.

The Fort Lauderdale community is reeling from the news, with many expressing their shock and grief over the senseless loss of such a young life. Local officials are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
