Young Buck is slowly getting on good terms with G-Unit, which he’s been on the outs with since being booted by 50 Cent in mid-2008.
Over the weekend, the former G-Unit rapper conducted an interview with DJ Whoo Kidon his Shade 45 radio show. During the chat (via phone), he said he’d consider reuniting with the camp if the opportunity arose.
While it’s unlikely that will happened, it seems that time is beginning to heal the bitterness between him and his former camp. It’s unclear if the radio appearance helped the relationship, but in a newly released interview, Buck says he’s finally back on speaking terms and is currently “renegotiating” with the label.
“I’ma be honest with y’all,” began Buck. “I’m in a space right now, where finally, we’re having some kind of negotiations with what I’mma be able to do, as far as the G-Unit situation.”
While the rapper didn’t specific who he’s negotiating with, whether it’s 50 himself or another person at the label, he did say, he’s close to figuring out his future in music.
“I will tell you, the wait is definitely over,” declared the G-Unit exile. “…I don’t want to put a timing on it, but the wait is absolutely over, and we’re just trying to figure out what’s the best situation as far as where I’m gonna go.
“I don’t think I’mma be able to complete the last few albums that I do have on [my G-Unit contract] on G-Unit. But, at the end of the end of the day, it is what it is. The past is the past, and we living in the present,” Buck continued.
