MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A suspect is reportedly dead after allegedly shooting two Memphis Police officers before setting his own house on fire.

According to WPTY, officers went Tuesday afternoon to serve a warrant on Aaron Dumas for the shooting of his ex-girlfriend and her brother on Oct. 7.

A short time later, one officer was shot in the leg, as the suspect was believed to be holed up in the house during a standoff. Another officer, whose condition is unknown, was shot at the same scene later Tuesday.

The Memphis Fire Department says Dumas then set the house on fire from the inside, and his body was discovered in the bathtub of the burned house.
