These are the horrific injuries suffered by a 19-year-old girl who was beaten so badly by her boyfriend that medics couldn’t tell what sex she was.
University student Tirion Lewis was in a coma for a month after her boxer boyfriend drove her to a secluded woodland and punched and kicked her repeatedly as she lay on the ground.
Wayne Fox, 23, is facing jail after admitting kidnapping Miss Lewis and subjecting her to the savage attack in Aberystwyth, West Wales. He was cleared of attempted murder.
Miss Lewis was listening to music with a friend in her Ford Ka outside her family home when paranoid schizophrenic Fox, 23, stormed up to the car.
A court heard he began talking ‘nonsense’ then said: ‘Why are you doing this to me?’.
The 6ft 2in boxer smashed his bare fist through the window before driving terrified Miss Lewis and her friend Miriam Evans, 19, to forestry for the brutal attack.
Miss Evans relived the nightmare attack which left Miss Lewis in a coma for more than a month.
She told police: ‘We were really scared – I was hoping someone would come and help us because we were both screaming.
‘He reached into the car and unlocked the driver’s door.
‘He pushed Tirion over to my side of the car. I thought about getting out and could have if I wanted to but I didn’t want to leave Tirion.
