This is what happen that night.
The man who shot and killed an innocent bystander in a Southfield nightclub learned his fate in court Tuesday.
Deangelo Eady was sentenced to spend 40-60 years in prison for the March 2013 shooting death of Nicole Riggs.
Eady was said to be among several people thrown out of the Myst Ultra Lounge after a fight. He left but later returned and fired shots into the club from the parking lot. One of those bullets struck Riggs.
Her family was in court for the sentencing and heart a tearful apology from Eady, who called the incident an accident.
He pleaded no-contest to second-degree murder.
