Sir Classic: From Music Retailer to Multifaceted Entrepreneur and Humanitarian

Seneca Dejuan McFarland, better known by his stage name Sir Classic, is an American DJ, actor, entrepreneur, humanitarian, rapper, record producer, and radio show producer. Born on January 30, 1977, in Aurora, Illinois, Sir Classic’s journey has been marked by diverse experiences and a relentless pursuit of success.

Growing up in Texas and later moving to Nigeria with his grandmother during his teenage years, Sir Classic eventually returned to the United States with his family, residing in Memphis, Tennessee, and Holly Springs, Mississippi, before finally settling in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sir Classic defines success simply as accomplishing the goals he sets for himself and checking them off his list, regardless of their scale. With a strong work ethic and a clear vision, he embarked on his musical career as a music retailer before founding Dictator Records in 1997.

As an artist, Sir Classic released several albums on his label and dropped his debut singles, “My Click So Thick” (2004) and “Chevy Thang” (2005). In 2000, he took the initiative to organize an annual community festival known as “Classic May Day” or “May Day Classic,” providing a platform for indie and major recording artists and bands.

Sir Classic’s contributions to the entertainment industry have been recognized through nominations in various categories at the Southern Entertainment Awards. He is the producer of “The Sir Classic Show,” a visual podcast media platform that delivers celebrity topics, entertainment, and news, as well as “Dictator Radio Show.”

Beyond music, Sir Classic has ventured into diverse business ventures, including a video game promotions and retail business, a barber shop franchise, and a marketing company. His unwavering commitment to entrepreneurship and community engagement has made him a respected figure in the entertainment and business worlds.
