Serena Williams showed her passion on the court as she smashed her racket to smithereens after losing to Sloane Stephens, 19, during her quarterfinal at the Australian Open. Serena had been suffering from a back injury, which made her movement and serves slow.
Williams, who suffered her first loss since August 17th, started off the Grand Slam Down Under by twisting her right ankle, which she talked about during an interview.
“I’ve had a tough two weeks between the ankle … and my back, which started hurting. A lot of stuff.”
