A stripper was shot three times in the rear end and two others were wounded after gun shots rang out at Sugar’s strip club on the Northwest Side.

Stripper among wounded in shooting at Sugar’s
A dancer was among three people wounded in a shooting at Sugar’s early Thursday on the city’s Northwest Side.
According to San Antonio police, there were several people sitting at a table in the strip club at 2731 NW Loop 410 at 12:40 a.m., when a fight and a shootout broke out between two men.
Ruben Martinez, 35, suffered a gunshot wound to the right knee and left forearm, police said. A 24-year-old woman, Leticia Gonzalez, a dancer at the club, suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks. Police said that Gonzalez was an innocent bystander.
A man considered to be the suspect in the case showed up at Methodist Hospital with a wound to the left buttocks. His name was immediately available. Charges are pending against him.
Although Martinez was involved in the gunfire, he was considered a victim because he fired his weapon in self-defense, police said.
None of the injuries suffered by the three were considered to be life-threatening.
