The Black Revolutionary Organization is planning an early morning protest on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

According to a press release, the group plans to meet at the Mississippi Greenbelt River Park at 4 a.m., march over the A.W. Willis bridge, cross the I-40 Hernando DeSoto bridge and block the westbound lane.

Residents who plan to use either bridge during this time are advised to use caution in the area, as it will be dark and protesters say they plan to dress in all black.

WMC also reached out to the Memphis Police Department for more information, but has not yet heard back.

The group was founded in the fall of 2014. The size of their membership, or how many people plan to march, is unknown.
