NOLA Underground Hip Hop Awards nominees announced earlier today

The NOLA Underground Hip Hop Awards (2012) were announced earlier today. Awards will be handed out on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the historic Joy Theatre in New Orleans, Louisiana, following a red carpet event.

Nominees are as follows:

Hottest Female Artist of the Year – nominees are Chels, December, 3D Na’Tee, Allie Baby, Ja So Rude, & Bzy

Hottest Female Vocalist of the Year – nominees are Iris P, Kendra Williams, Kourtney Heart, Princess Denisia, & Alia Fleury

Hottest Group of the Year – nominees are Youngest 1’s, Da U Boys, Flame Gang, Team Robot, NO 4, & Smash Brothers

Hottest New Artist (Rising Star) – nominees are Jay Jones, Philly Beamin, D-Eazy, Famous Stranger, DH, & Skrilla

Hottest Male Artist of the Year – nominees are Young Roddy, Flow, LG, Paasky, Lucci Lou, & Dee-1

Lyricist of the Year – nominees are Skip, HeataBest, Lyriqs Da Lyraciss, 3D Na’Tee, Ryan Lee, & The Show

Hottest Producer of the Year – nominees are Blaq N Mild, S-80, Flight School, Quest, Raj Smoove, & II Deep Muzic

Hottest Mix DJ of the Year – nominees are DJ Rqaway, Tony Skratchere, DJ Money Fresh, DJ Black N Mild, &       DJ Cousin Cav
