Nicki Minaj found herself facing a $1,000 fine after her performance in Jamaica Saturday night. Apparently, Jamaica has strict rules about no profanity during live performances, and sexual dance movements are prohibited as well.
Despite her best attempts, the Hirajuku Barbie used curse words several times throughout the show, and the Jamaican court hit her with a $1,000 fine for the offense. A local attorney entered an ex parte guilty plea on Nicki’s behalf and paid the fine.
Do you think the Jamaican law about no profanity or sexually suggestive dance moves is outdated?
