Jason Howard launches M37 Management and Next Level Sounds to help Independent Artists
Jason Howard also is known as Jase, who is originally from Philadelphia has spent the last 2 years surveying the Independent Artist landscape in Atlanta. While doing this he found an opening after being introduced to the digital side of music.
“I noticed that there were no platforms designed to really grow artists or point independent artists in the right direction, there were a lot of people who looked to profit heavily off of artists but not help them grow”.
M37 Management LLC. is designed to help an artist find their core audience, gain organic fans through ads and other viral campaigns. “I feel the industry now is so digital these days, you can be a big artist in more places than your hometown. Streaming has opened the door to any town or city. It’s the place that you -as an artist-can launch your career from”.
Next Level Sounds LLC is the other company that Howard launched. Next Level Sounds LLC is a platform that features a blog – Next Level Hip Hop- and Spotify playlists that currently boasts 50k followers.
“The main idea with NLS was to create a platform that could help independent artists gain fans and notoriety. These days people like artists that are already popular. “My goal is to connect with others who are working to groom and promote independent artists,” says Howard.
The NLS playlists have listeners from all over the world. Each playlist placement is for 30 days includes promotion on the NLHH blog and getting your song placed in an e-mail blast to 100k new potential listeners. Recently, NLS has partnered with Marcus Washington and Ja’main Walker of MVP Entertainment in New Jersey to give artists exposure to radio and TV. Also, NLS has teamed up with Yaquan Hunter of Approval PR to expand the list of playlists that can be offered to artists and help them gain access to well-known blogs.
