Christian Recording Artist, Raely Elle releases her new EP, “The Butterfly Stranger”
Raely Elle was born June 26th, 1991 in Klamath Falls Oregon. At age 14, she worked as a lounge singer at Yesterday’s Plaza for two years, earning her a spotlight in the local newspaper. Raely moved to Portland OR when she was 18, where she auditioned for a funk-soul band and was the lead singer for 6 months. She then realized she wanted to expand her solo career and work on original music. When she turned 19, she joined the Christian hip hop label “Never Fade Records”. At age 20, she married the CEO and producer “M.I.C.”, and is currently the Executive Assistant to CEO as well as an artist on the label.
With an undeniable hybrid of genres comes a unique and boundary crossing album that bends the expectations of normality in the Christian Music arena. Raely Elle delivers her 10 track sophomore album “The Butterfly Stranger” through a pleasant blend of Reggae-Pop on distinctive Hip-Hop beats. Though her style blurs the lines of musical categories, her message and delivery are crystal clear.
With songs of hope and healing, she narrates a story of alienation and encourages the listener to be true to their calling. Smooth, soulful, and rhythmic harmonies layer beautifully to create an experience worth revisiting. The album was meticulously written, produced, mixed and mastered completely in-house by Raely Elle and her husband M.I.C., except for a few featured artists work (E-Sential, TRUe, & Benjah).
This March 2019 release was her 4th overall project, succeeding her “Peacemaker” album and two mixtapes, spanning the last decade. A journey she began as a young lounge singer in the early years of the new millennium. She is currently working on her next project, a continuous cycle driven by her love of music, worship, and the opportunity to spread God’s love and faith.
