With Thanksgiving less than a week away the YMCMB team held their 16th annual turkey giveaway.
Lil Wayne, Slim, Birdman, Mack Maine, Chris Richardson and Lil Chuckee were all at the event giving back to those less fortunate.
“It’s actually been my first time back here for the past eight or nine years, and they’ve been doing this for 15 years,” Lil Wayne told MTV News. “I haven’t been back here to do this for so long just being super busy, just always on tour. But this is amazing, especially experiencing it now experiencing it this this point of view; a 29-year old perspective. A person with everything, well not everything. I’m able to give, basically. Those times I did it years ago I was just a kid and I was just doing it because of Baby and Slim, we were giving away turkeys at a park. Now, it’s a totally different feeling because I can actually give you that and say, ‘Here, Happy Thanksgiving’ and I can provide that for you.”
