The LAPD made a huge bust on Friday, arresting about three dozen alleged members of the infamous Rollin’ 30s Harlem Crip gang on federal and state charges.
The investigation was called “Operation Thumbs Down,” a reference to the gang’s most popular gang sign–two thumbs up. The operation yielded an unknown amount of drugs and guns, after doing massive raids with 34 different warrants.
Social media played a big part in the capturing of these people, as officers took to Twitter and Facebook for evidence of crimes. In one picture posted, a very, very young girl holds a massive rifle.
