With 5:24 left in the second quarter, Bryant scored his 32,293rd career point when he converted a pair of free throws, putting the Lakers ahead, 38-32, over the Timberwolves in Minnesota.
Bryant moved up to third place, behind former Lakers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) and Karl Malone (36,928).
