Vh1’s reality series Love & Hip-Hop is back on air for a second season beginning on Monday night (November 14) and new characters mean brand new conflict—right off the bat. The trailer for season two, episode one has already revealed a blowout fight between Jim Jones’ fiance Chrissy Lampkin and newcomer Kimbella, who is also the girlfriend of Dipset member Juelz Santana. According to Jones and Lampkin, the fight made things “awkward” for Jones and Juelz, but it didn’t sour their relationship.
During episode one, viewers will watch Chrissy lose her cool when Kimbella announces that she dated rapper Fabulous while his ex-girlfriend Emily Bustamente was pregnant with their son. “I think everybody that watches the show feels like Emily doesn’t defend herself the way we would like to see her do,” Chrissy explained, adding that she regrets throwing blows. “I don’t regret my feelings, but I regret the way I allowed myself to be pulled out of character. [Vanderhee]’s another grown woman, and it’s crazy to put your hands on somebody like that. It’s just that I was so hurt and so caught in the moment — it was just reactional. I just reacted to the pain. I know it’s gonna sound crazy, but it wasn’t really personal.”
