If MikeWiLLMadeIt, It’s Certified Platinum

Once upon a time, the age of a producer was a potential barrier to success in the music industry. Not any longer – thanks to producers like MikeWiLLMadeIt, the industry has begun to stand up and take notice of epic talent – not the age of the producer.

At only 17 years old, young prodigy MikeWiLLMadeIt began production for Gucci Mane. It was not long before his music was featured in various arenas and the rest as they say, was history.

Now in his early 20’s, MikeWiLLMadeIt is the head of Ear-Drummer Entertainment, his own production company, and he is responsible for hits by industry standouts like Rick Ross, Future, Waka Flocka, Tity Boi, Lil Boosie, Shawty Lo, and Soulja Boy.

One of the biggest hits for which MikeWiLLMadeIt can claim responsibility, is “Tupac’s Back”, a popular hit by Meek Mill and Rick Ross. It gets no bigger than that.

The Heat recently had a chance to catch up with MikeWiLLMadeIt and here’s what he had to say:

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Who or what were your influences?

MikeWiLLMadeIt: My uncle Al was someone I always looked up to. He made tracks and could play EVERY instrument. He was a musical genius. When I decided to start producing, he was definitely someone I wanted to be like. Also, I was influenced the fact that I could hear a lot of songs on the radio and play them back by ear.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Tell us who all you have worked with?

MikeWiLLMadeIt: I’m blessed to be working with artists that have real talent. My client list continues to grow. I’ve worked with Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes, Sean Garrett, Jerimih, Big Sean, Rocko, Future – the list goes on.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: How much an effect does your region have on your music?

MikeWiLLMadeIt: Everything. I think its important to position yourself in a environment where you can learn, build and connect within your industry. That’s how I made it this far. If it wasn’t for God, I wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in. I go to sleep and wake up praying.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What will we see from you in the future?

MikeWiLLMadeIt: I’m in the process of creating more successful hits. I’m looking to produce in every genre and to build my company Ear Drummers into an empire.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Heat salutes MikeWiLLMadeIt for all of his accomplishments. We hope to see much more of him in the near future and we wish him the best of luck in all of his endeavors. Be on the lookout for his new mixtape, “Est. in 1989 Last of a Dying Breed”, hosted by DJ Scream, DJ Teknikz and DJ Infamous, featuring Gucci Mane Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Tyga, Busta Rhymes, Future, Waka Flocka, Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz, Rocko, Juicy J, Jim Jones, Trademark, Sean Garrett, Eldorado Red, Brick Squad, and many more.
